Keswick.net is officially live!
We've been showing Keswick to the world since 2001, and many of you know us for the webcams. They're still here. Now they sit alongside something we think the town has needed for a while: a proper, free guide to Keswick and the businesses that make it special.
Keswick.net is created by a local Cumbrian team who know and love the area. We wanted to build something genuinely useful for residents and visitors, while giving local businesses another opportunity to get themselves seen.
What you'll find on Keswick.net
Places to stay, eat and drink: browse places to stay, from hotels, B&Bs and campsites to cosy cafés and pubs where you can eat and drink
Things to do: find things to do, plus local shops, trades and services
What's on: see events, gigs and talks around Keswick
A map: explore the map of the area, including useful local facilities such as car parks, toilets and defibrillators
Made in Cumbria: a spotlight on local makers, producers and creators
Six live webcams, as ever
Whether you live here or you're planning a visit, we want finding the right place to be that little bit easier.

Keswick.net FAQs
What is Keswick.net?
An independent local guide and business directory for Keswick and the northern Lake District, created by a local Cumbrian team. It brings together places to stay, eat and drink, things to do, local services, events, a map and live webcams, and it has been running since 2001.
Is it free to add my business?
Yes, completely. There are no listing fees and no hidden charges.
How long does it take?
Around five minutes to add your details. You'll need at least one photo. We check every listing before it goes live, usually within 24 hours.
Which areas do you cover?
Keswick, Portinscale, Braithwaite, Bassenthwaite, Borrowdale, Threlkeld, Thirlmere, Grasmere and Ullswater.
Can I add events?
Yes. Places that host events can add them from their dashboard once their listing is live, and they appear on our What's On page.
Where are the webcams?
On our webcams page: Keswick town centre, Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Blencathra (two views) and the Northern Lights Gallery.
Come and have a look
We've already welcomed our first local businesses, and we're only just getting started. Have a look around, share the site with friends and family, and if you know a local business or Cumbrian creator who should be featured, send them our way.
Made in Keswick, for Keswick. ❤️
