The Tour de France is coming to Keswick!
On Saturday 3 July 2027, Keswick will take centre stage as the world's biggest cycling race sets off from the heart of the Lake District for the second stage of the Tour de France.
The 223km route will see some of the world's best cyclists leave Keswick and head south through the stunning Lake District scenery, passing Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal Water and Windermere before continuing towards Morecambe Bay, Lancaster and eventually Liverpool.
It's set to be a fantastic day for Keswick, with locals and visitors having the chance to experience one of the world's biggest sporting events right on our doorstep.
Whether you're a keen cycling fan or just fancy soaking up the atmosphere, this is one event you won't want to miss!
