About
I'm Jan, the maker behind Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear. I design and make colourful, practical knitwear and accessories in my Cumbrian studio, drawing on over 30 years of machine knitting and a love of Scandinavian design.
The landscape around me runs through everything I make. My Contours Collection is knitted from a contour map of Scafell and Scafell Pike, and my signature buttons are made with sand and shells collected from Cumbrian beaches, so no two are the same.
I work with quality yarns, many of them spun in the British Isles, from Shetland lambswool to soft merino. You'll find ponchos, cowls, beanies, headbands and fingerless gloves, and many pieces can be made to order in your choice of colours.
Shop online through my website, or find me at craft fairs across Cumbria and beyond.
